Eagles Nest
Eagle Scout is the highest rank in Scouting. Earning it takes years of work: merit badges, leadership in the troop, and an Eagle project that serves the community. We are proud of every Troop 229 Scout who has made it to Eagle.

Our first Eagle Scouts (1994–1995)
In December 1994 Troop 229 held its first Eagle Scout Courts of Honor, three days apart: Eric A. Backlund earned Eagle on December 11 and James R. Fisher on December 14. Two months later their friend and fellow Scout Geoff Dietrich became the troop’s third Eagle Scout. Read more on our History page.
